Disney Parks Has New Alliance with Pop Secret Popcorn
It was announced today that Pop Secret Popcorn is now the official popcorn for both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts.
As part of this relationship, Disney will now sell freshly popped Pop Secret popcorn property-wide at its popcorn carts found within the parks. The brand will also serve as the sponsor of Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and will also sponsor movie nights at many Disney resort hotels.
According to Burke Raine, Vice President of Marketing, Snacks, at Diamond,”Pop Secret popcorn and Disney both have deep associations with movies and encourage lasting memories shaped by fun family activities.”
Disney popcorn is a staple for many vacations. I know I have trouble walking past a cart when I catch a whiff of that buttery, salty goodness. What about you?

In the UK our popcorn is sweet so it was a bit of a shock when I first tasted popcorn in the US. I am not a big fan of UK or US popcorn BUT I love the smell. I can see that if I start associating its aroma with WDW I would get constant reminders when I am not there and that can’t be a bad thing can it?
If you want to try a sweeter popcorn while in the US, look for a flavor called Kettle corn. That usually has a sweeter coating to it, along with a hit if salt.
