The Holiday season is quickly approaching and Universal has all your favorite festivities returning this year. In Universal Studios is the Universal Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, musical performances by Manheim Steamroller, a new Holiday Tribute Store, Christmas decorations around the park, and special Christmas versions of the Blues Brothers and Celestina Warbeck shows. Over in Islands of Adventure is the fan-favorite Grinchmas show, Grinch character breakfast, and walk around Who characters in Seuss Landing.

In the Universal Studios Florida Lagoon the show infrastructure for a new nighttime lagoon show. So far the platform appears very similar to the old Cinematic Celebration but rumors suggest there will be additional lines of fountains to extend the show towards Lombards and Transformers. Other rumors say we might see some drones in this show, but Universal remains mum.
A new parade is also planned for next year which is rumored to feature classic Universal Studios Florida properties such as Back to the Future and Ghostbusters. Both this new parade and the nighttime lagoon show are expected to open in the summer of 2024.

Something Epic is coming. Universal’s Epic Universe theme park is slated for a summer 2025 opening but Universal is working non-stop to finish the park. Above is an image from the front of the park looking back to the Helios Grand hotel at the back of the park. On the left with the green wall is Super Nintendo World and behind that is Dark Universe based on the Universal Monsters. On the right is How to Train Your Dragon, Starfall Racers, and The Wizarding World.

The two new Prime Value hotels have their colorful exteriors applied. Formed by thousands of color-changing tiles, these hotels will glisten in the sun and change color as guests drive or walk past.

The Grand Helios hotel at the back of the park is rising too. This Premier resort will have rooms overlooking the park, but rooms at the back will still be able to watch the fireworks show since the fireworks are launched behind the hotel. Combine that with its own entrance to Epic Universe, the Helios Grand hotel will be the ultimate way to see Epic Universe.

Epic Universe is expected to open the summer of 2025.
