Disney World Opening Dates Announced!

Disney just announced SEVEN opening dates for new and refurbished attractions across all 4 parks! Hopefully you were planning a Memorial Day visit to Walt Disney World….

Magic Kingdom

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland reopens on Wednesday, April 8, 2026! The revamped ride will now have handheld blasters, similar to the type used in Disneyland. There will be new game play and even a new character, Buddy. We cannot wait to learn where all of the new high score Z’s are!

Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland will reopen in early May after a lengthy refurbishment. Disney has announced Big Thunder will reopen with “a little bit of new magic” including enhanced effects in the Rainbow Caverns. We surely have missed that mountain goat and can’t wait to see what he’s up to now.

Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue will open at the Diamond Horseshoe on Tuesday, May 26th. This new revue is billed as a place for singing, dancing, games, and an overall good time for the younger members of your team. This show is just for this summer as part of the Cool Kid Summer promotion.

Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney Studios Courtyard opens May 26, 2026. This Courtyard will be home to The Magic of Disney Animation, which includes Learn to Draw with Olaf. The Animation experiences aren’t scheduled to open until late summer.

Oh, Toodles! It’s time to boogie! Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! opens on May 26th with a whole new stage production. This show may have a new look, but you can count on the familiar songs we all love. Hot Dog Dance loading…

Animal Kingdom

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station opens on May 26th! Guests can meet Bluey and Bingo can take the Wildlife Express Train to Conservation Station where they can meet the famous sisters and discover native Australian animals at “Jumping Junction”. There will also be games and fun for all, so brush up on your Ground is Lava and Keepy Uppy!

EPCOT

Soarin’ Around the World transitions to Soarin’ Across America on May 26th. We’re always up for new smells from Section B, Row 1!
