Food & Wine Quick Reviews: France
There are two new items at the France Food & Wine kitchen and we tried them both!

This is one of the kitchens that has been part of Food & Wine for all 30 years.

Boeuf Braise vin Rouge et Echalottes, Gâteau de Pommes de Terre, $9.50 + tax = $10.12
Red Wine-braised Short Ribs with Shallot Confit and Potato Gâteau

This isn’t the most photogenic dish of Food & Wine, but it’s one of the best tasting things we had on opening day. It’s a generally accepted fact that beef in any sort of wine reduction is going to be delicious and this proves true here. Tender beef, sweet shallot confit, and buttery potatoes. While a bit on the expensive side at $10.12 after tax, this one is worth the splurge.

Crème Brûlée Pistache, Confiture de Fruits Rouges, $7.95 + tax = $8.47
Pistachio Crème Brûlée with Berry Compote
- New!
- 1 Disney Dining Plan (DDP) Snack Credit
We are usually crème brûlée fans, but this was just ok. We did not enjoy the berry compote at the bottom with the pistachio cream, and we’d recommend spending your $8.47 elsewhere.
Is the France kitchen a regular stop for you during EPCOT festivals?
