Grand Floridian Merch: Photo Tour

The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a great time even if you aren’t staying there! You can eat at Disney World’s only MICHELIN Star location, Victoria & Alberts, if your budget and time allows. Or, you can get the truly tasty Buttermilk-fried Chicken at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Then there’s Cítrico’s, Enchanted Rose, The Perch, 1900 Park Fare… you get the idea. But what are you supposed to be between your Lavender Fog and Strawberry Salad?!? Shop!

Basin White

Hours: 9:00am – 9:00pm

Location: Just off the monorail entrance to your left on the 2nd floor.

What They Sell: All manner of spectacular smelling soaps, bath salts, bath bombs, lotions, shampoo and conditioner bars, chapsticks, and other shower and bath products. Many of their products are Disney themed like the soaps in the shot above. They also have a wide array of products that have Disney smells! The “Isn’t it Grand” soap above smells like the lobby of the Grand Floridian. They sell bath and shower bombs that smell like the Polynesian, Soarin’, and even the Pirates of the Caribbean. If you don’t see the scent you’re after, ask a Cast Member!

Discounts: Disney Annual Passholders receive a 10% discount at Basin.

Our Tips: While we love the lotion here, the larger sizes won’t be able to pass through TSA in your carryon luggage because they’re considered a liquid. If your budget allows, their shampoo and conditioner bars are as nice as the ones we get from LUSH and they last just as long.

M. Mouse Mercantile

 

Hours: 8.30am – 10:00pm

Location: Just off the monorail entrance to your right on the 2nd floor.

What They Sell: This spot is the merch location at the Grand Floridian that is most like the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. They have a small but quality selection of clothing for children and adults, princess gowns and accessories, toys, games, pins, jewelry, and seasonal selections. For example, if you popped in this week you would see spring Mickey and Minnie plush dolls. Maybe you can see them in the right corner of the picture above?

Our Tips: You can find information about Halloween, Easter, and Christmas baskets here. This is also the best pin trading board at this Resort. We’ve had good luck finding real pins here in the past.

Curious Clothiers 

Hours: 8:30am – 10:00pm

Location: The far side of the lobby if you’re entering from the main entrance or monorail, 1st floor.

What They Sell: Higher end clothing, bags, and accessories. You can find Loungefly backpacks and Lilly Pulitzer clothing including dresses, bathing suits, cover-up, bags, and shoes.

Our Tips: If you only packed for park days but manage to snag a reservation to Victoria & Alberts or another location with a dress code, you’ll definitely find something to wear here. If you’re in need of appropriate golf outfits (are they called outfits?) this is your spot. The downside is they don’t carry much in the way of larger sizes for anything other than the casual clothing.

Sandy Cove Gifts and Sundries

Hours: 8:00am – 10:00pm

Location: 1st floor around the bend from 1900 Park Fare.

What They Sell: Think well stocked Wawa or Sheetz without the gas pumps and throw a Mickey head on the merch. This is the spot to find frozen snack food and a small selection of groceries like milk, bread, and cheese. They also carry beer and lots of alcoholic beverages from hard seltzers, to wine and liquor. This is where you’ll be able to buy DVC clothing and merch, and a small selection of kitchen gear.

The shelves are stocked with large bags of chips, really expensive donuts, small boxes of cereal, and whole fruit.

The center display has a small but expensive selection of medicine, health and beauty products, and baby care items.

Our Tips: Double check your packing cubes before you leave home because the prices are steep.
