The Wait is Over- How Did Our NFL/ Disney Predictions Do?

The NFL and the Walt Disney Company dropped a tease last month that left us all wondering who our favorite teams were paired with. And on a personal note, how did the TouringPlans team’s predictions (hopes) fare? I will say there are some surprises mixed with some wins! Some Standouts

Just like the original nine teams that were announced, some of the picks were obvious, and some leave us wondering what they were thinking, and grateful nobody on the TouringPlans team is a Seahawks fan.

The biggest “why didn’t I think of that” has to be the Atlanta Falcons. Many predicted the Marvel character, Falcon. We went deep with Shan Yu, but they chose Millennium Falcon, and that is perfect!

The 49ers felt obvious, Stinky Pete, or they could be polite and call him the Prospector. He was our prediction, but truthfully, I suspected they would go with a color match. But no, they went full-on and chose Stinky Pete.

Thanos was the Tennessee Titans pick, most, including us, predicted Hercules. My son Ben pointed out that Thanos is an actual Titan. So I guess we have to allow it.

We predicted the Browns would get Chewbacca, one of the big surprises, Chewey went to the Packers. Our Bob guessed Hulk, but “he’s happy to claim Chewey for the Pack”.

Thor was always the choice for the Vikings, but our Becky was still hoping for Vladimir. However, she’s shopping for all the merch while I type.

Derek’s Chargers are Pegasus, I guess the bright red #95 just couldn’t work with their colors.

As a Bengals fan, my wish came true, the Bengals got Shere Kahn, which is cooler than Len’s Steelers, who are Pete.

And why are we all grateful we’re not Seahawks fans? They are the MINE Seagulls from Finding Nemo.

Our Prediction Score

Out of the 22 teams announced today, we got 9.5 correct. We have a half point for Louis, we were hoping for a princess, but had Louis down as well. Which earns us a dismal 43.18% accuracy.
