You greatly inflated the cost of these rooms. The standard view rooms at Caribbean Beach go for as low as $187 a night this year, and never more expensive than $288 a night, no matter what time of year. We stayed there for 11 nights during Free Dining in 2015, for about $2200 (resort cost only.)
You are correct that the price briefly gets down to $187 (weekdays between Jan 3-6 & 10-14), but it also goes as high as $382 for a Water View Pirate room at Christmastime.
Stayed here twice over the past 10 years and really enjoyed both stays. Because it is so spread out if you have members of your party who have difficulty walking this may not be the best resort option. But for those without walking concerns this is a beautiful resort with lush landscaping and a relaxing feel that makes coming back to your room after a day at the parks a nice change of pace.
There is also a free daily marshmallow roast that takes place on the beach not far from the main building. The cast members provide the roasting sticks and all the marshmallows!
This was a fun video to relive the CBR. I’ve stayed here twice with my BF (during runDisney Princess weekends) and we love it there. It’s beautiful, relaxing, quiet and breath-taking. We lounged by Barefoot Bay on a hammock one afternoon and it was so relaxing, we almost forgot we were at Disney. We’ve eaten at Shutters and their butternut squash soup with corn bread croutons was amazing!
I too have stayed here twice over past few years. Love the resort but hate the counter service options. Could do with an upgrade.
Would love to see a video of Saratoga Springs in near future as that’s our next resort for Sept 16. Can’t wait.
I thought this moderate had queen sized beds not double?
Yes. It has queen sized beds, and a pull down murphy bed. That means it sleeps 5 per room, which is a great deal during Free Dining.
Yes, you are correct, it now has queen beds. That was my fault, I gave Angela outdated info.

J Price,
I appreciate you picking up on the price difference. Thank you for clearing that up for our readers!

Jeff,
I completely agree with your comment. Selecting photos for this video was so difficult because of all the beauty this resort has to offer.
Thanks for watching!

Joe,
That’s right! Should have mentioned that as well. Thanks for adding that in! 🙂

You’re showing up just after we leave. We’re at SSR from Aug 20th to Sept 5th. Perfect for accessing the new and improved Disney Springs.
Nice video! Would like to see all the videos of the resorts!
