You’ve seen the billboards, online advertisements, and signs at the parks – but what is Halloween Horror Nights? What is the appropriate age to attend? How much does it cost? When does it run?

Halloween Horror Nights (HHN for short) is a ticketed after-hours event at Universal Studios Florida that runs on select nights from Labor Day Weekend till Halloween. Universal transforms USF into a huge Halloween party with ten haunted houses, five scare zones, and shows. Dozens of unique food booths serve devilish delicious items like fried Oreos, pizza fries, themed food items, and lots of alcohol.  Universal embraces its horror roots with an edgy, adult-oriented event designed for mature audiences – this is not Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World. Separate admission is required and starts at $82.99 per person plus tax online. Multinight passes and Express Pass is also available. HHN operates rain or shine from 6:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday through Sunday.
