Universal Translator – What is the UOAP?
Want to see the universe year-round? Today we look at the UOAP program and the pass tiers in this Universal Translator.

The Universal Orlando Annual Pass (UOAP) is a year-long admissions ticket for one guest to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando. All UOAP includes discounts on hotel rooms, access to the UOAP lounge, free UOAP events and meet-ups, free magnets and pins, and a dedicated entrance at Islands of Adventure. There are four levels of passes:
- Season Pass – The base pass that includes blackout dates during spring holidays, July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas periods. Barebones perks.
- Power Pass – Same blackout dates and perks as the Season Pass, but includes 50% off self parking and the option to pay for the pass monthly.
- Preferred Pass – No blackout dates, includes free self-parking, food and beverage discounts, and Early Park Admission.
- Premier Pass – The preferred pass benefits plus free valet parking, free Express Pass use after 4:00 pm, and a free Halloween Horror Nights ticket.
Guests can upgrade their 2-park pass to a 3-park pass that includes Volcano Bay. At the time of writing, there is no UOAP offered that includes Epic Universe.
