VIDEO: Operating Procedures for Shanghai Disneyland’s Reopening
With the upcoming reopening of Shanghai Disneyland, there have been many questions about what sort of experience would exist in the parks. Thanks to the sleuthing work of Scott Gustin and the YouTube video courtesy Dong Dong, we have our first look at some procedures that will be in place.
Among items mentioned include China-specific procedures (showing your Green QR code to indicate your health that day), procedures that have been commonly expected (social distancing in queues and temperature screening), and other aspects that have not been mentioned often (disposable gloves given for some attractions, dedicated trash cans as you exit the park for face masks).
Although every Disney park is likely to have different operating procedures, this gives some insight into some items that could be coming to domestic parks for their reopening.
What do you think of how Shanghai Disneyland is reopening? Are there any aspects you’d like or not like to see at the U.S. parks for their reopening? Let us know in the comments.
I actually had tears of happiness in my eyes watching this video, happy for the people who get to go to Shanghai Disney, and looking forward with hopefulness to our own opening of Walt Disney World!
