Walt Disney World: Park Hour and Schedule Changes – August, September, and March
Disney has, once again, updated their park hours and schedules for Walt Disney World. Changes are not nearly as widespread as they had been in the peak season, but there were still changes.
– August: The only new August change is for Monday, August 29th. Hollywood Studios is now open until 10pm and a second Fantasmic! show was added.
– September: Every Monday in September Hollywood Studios is now open until 10pm with 2 Fantasmic! shows. On September 17th and 24th (both Saturdays), the Magic Kingdom is now open until 10pm.
– March: The preliminary schedule for March has been released. Unfortunately it will change as we get closer to March.

Hmm, wonder why only part was updated?
Anyway, to answer your question about evening EMH – it’s always three hours after the normal closing of the park. So if the park is scheduled to close at 10pm, then EMH would run from 10pm to 1am.
Hmm, I’m not seeing any changes to Monday Aug 29th:
•Park Hours: 9:00am – 9:00pm
•Evening Extra Magic Hours until 12:00am
•Fantasmic! at 8:30pm
You are correct Marc. All of the updates are still not showing on the site. It will be corrected very soon and, in the meantime, you can go ahead and curse my name.
The EMH is 3 hours long in the evening, so it will be until 1am and there is definitely a 2nd Fantasmic! show on Aug 29th at 10p that will be much less busy than the 8:30p show. Enjoy your trip!

Hey guys, looking at the crowd tracker on the site, I’m finally seeing the updates. Still no notification email (although they did post that they were having bounce back issues.) But it is updated on the site.
I am going to WDW in a week and a half, 10 days!! single digits start tomorrow 🙂 and we are planning on DHS for Monday the 29th. Since the park is now open until 10:00pm, will the EEMH go until 1:00am or is still just until midnight? Sure hope the second Fantasmic! show is accurate as it should make it a lot easier to see as we have never seen it before.
Yes, I am noticing the same thing – especially since my trip in September has two Mondays. The crowd tracker hasn’t been updated to show that there are two Fantasmics! on Monday.
Have these hours not been posted on TP.com yet? I’m not seeing the any of these changes in my Crowd Tracker.
