Halloween still has a few days left before it’s officially here, but that hasn’t stopped the Disneyland Resort from starting to install Christmas decor earlier than ever. Try not to suffer too much seasonal dissonance while strolling around the resort!

Busiest Day: Saturday 10/27 was an 8 out of 10 at the resort, with a 7.6 out of 10 in Disneyland, and 4.5 at DCA.

  • Regarding the 4 & 5 day ticket holder item…We were there when this started last week. The first day there were no signs at all indicating this change. The next day there were signs directing DL traffic to gates 15 & 16 and DCA traffic to gates 53 & 54. The DCA gates are NOT marked overhead like the DL ones and gates 53 & 54 are on the far left end of the DCA entrance. You also must make sure that you sign your 4 or 5 day ticket and the cast member will ask for ID. You will also have to show your ID again for re-entry. While I understand the reason why Disney is doing this, they need to dedicate more gates for this process. If you have a 4 or 5 day ticket, get there at least 40 minutes before gates open as the line will be LONG when the gates open.

Also, the charge for ice skating is $15 plus $3 for hockey skate rental (I didn’t see any figure skates available) or $2 for double blade toddler skates. There were not many people on the rink last week but it looks like fun.
