New Pedestrian Bridge Open at the Disneyland Resort

A brand new pedestrian bridge that is over Magic Way is now open at the Disneyland Resort. The opening of this bridge competes the expanded parking project that was being done on the westside of the Disneyland Resort.

Guests may now choose to ride a resort tram from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures, or stroll across the 174-foot-long bridge for a short walk through Downtown Disney District to reach the Main Entrance esplanade. Digital signage on each side of the bridge will help drivers navigate around the resort.

In addition, to the pedestrian bridge, there is also a brand new landscaped path that goes from the bridge to the entrance of Downtown Disney District.

In June, the Pixar Pals parking structure opened, adding more than 5,000 parking spaces. These parking enhancements were done to help the overall guest experience at the Disneyland Resort.
