Some of the food increases kind of make sense… I mean a burger and fries for $10 is not unreasonable.

But, on the Coke front, I heard that Coke gives them the product FOR FREE in exchange for Coke being the only soft drink offered in their parks. Is that true? And if so, my gosh, they are making serious margins on the soda… let alone to raise the price.

On fountain soda any restaurant makes a high margin of profit though. The average glass of soda costs maybe 15 cents using soda machines. Disney has us trapped there much like a movie theatre. And since we are by and large addicted to the stuff we usually ending paying. I pick up a six pack before I go and enjoy my Dr. Pepper in relative cheapness and happiness.

Yes, disney gets all of its coke product for free in exchange for free advertising and being the only distributor in the parks. Also if you’re a cast member the same food is available “backstage” and a tremendous reduction, like 6$ for a whole meal. A way to get em is go to town hall , tell them the stroller you rented was taken a d it had your sweater or jacket on it (a certificate will be given for a free one) or the balloons that have mickey in them, tell them it floated away.
