Seasonal Pricing Breakdown for Disneyland

As you may have seen in my blog post yesterday, Disney has moved to seasonal pricing for its one day tickets at Disneyland.

Going forward, each month will be divided into value, regular, and peak days. The new system will work as follows: If you’re visiting in September, you’ll get to pay value pricing. If say, however, that you want to visit around the hectic holiday week during Christmas, you will pay peak pricing.

Seasonal pricing only impact 1 day tickets. Those who purchase multi-day tickets will not see seasonal pricing.

Here’s what this all means for Disneyland tickets.

 Disneyland Resort 1-Day 1-Park Tickets Main Entrance Price Ages 10 & Up Ages 3 – 9
Value Ticket
A 1-Day Value Ticket is valid for one admission to one theme park on any Value season date.
$95 $89
Regular Ticket
A 1-Day Regular Ticket is valid for one admission to one theme park on any Regular or Value season date.
$105 $99
Peak Ticket
A 1-Day Peak Ticket is valid for one admission to one theme park on any Peak, Regular or Value season date.
$119 $113

1-Day Peak, Regular and Value tickets must be used by December 31, 2017, but the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price, so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.

Peak, Regular and Value dates continue to be added to the calendar from time to time, so you’ll need to check dates often. The dates assigned to each of these seasons and the number of days in each of these seasons may change from year to year. Visit disneyticketcalendar.com to view value, regular and peak dates for 1-day tickets.

If you’re looking for tickets, remember that our Price Comparison Tool can help you find the least expensive tickets for your particular needs. Prices are updated each night. Sometimes when Disney increases ticket prices, third-party resellers continue to sell their “old stock” of tickets at the old prices while supplies last, so you may be able to snag some lower priced tickets if you act soon!

  • Thank you for the good straight-forward information. I noticed that the calendars you show here are not showing the same dates as I see on the Disney ticketing page: Disney has fewer value dates showing than I see here. These calendars seem more nuanced. Am I missing something?

    • Oh dear, I was looking at the WDW page. Sorry!

  • Rikki – Have seen several articles and blogs concerning the pricing changes. Most are helter-skelter. Thanks for listing all of the options, especially how the prices for the multi-day passes are changing.
