The holiday season is officially here and the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort is fully embracing the festiveness. Guests will see that the planters around the shopping and dining district are bursting with oversized ornaments and bright holiday lighting. There is also Christmas tree found in the center of the promenade.

Of course, there is lots of entertainment to experience, including a brand new caroling act called Holiday Harmony. The group is clad in ugly sweaters and they will perform fun Christmas carols.

Looking to meet the big man himself? Guests can attend Breakfast with Santa, which will take place at Catal Restaurant. Here, Guests are invited to join Santa Claus and his elves for a family-style breakfast, carolers and more! All kids will receive a Build-A-Bear Workshop teddy bear from Santa himself! This breakfast will take place on December 16 and December 21-22.

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, pick up a great peppermint bark ice cream sundae or milkshake which includes hot fudge, Oreos, whipped cream, and a candy piece at  Haagen-Dazs.

There’s also great holiday shopping that can be done, including at PANDORA Jewelry, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Sephora, Curl Surf, Sanuk, World of Disney and the recently opened Dream Boutique.

In addition, if you are looking to spread holiday cheer, consider donating a toy during the Downtown Disney District Toys for Tots drive which will take place on December 2 and 3.  Join in the spirit by donating a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Downtown Disney District Main Stage. Disney VoluntEARS, personnel from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and Anaheim Fire and Rescue will be on hand to help collect your donations. Want to donate, but don’t have time to shop? There will be a “pop-up shop” to provide a hassle-free way to donate purchases.

Looks like the holidays have officially arrived at Downtown Disney!
