Disney After Hours Events Added For May and June

Today, Disney just released the dates for one of their more popular hard ticketed events, as Disney After Hours dates have been added for late spring/early summer. The dates for May and June are as follows:

In addition, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, two of the Disney After Hours dates will offer unique theme nights. First, on May 1, Guests will be able to celebrate Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30th anniversary with special anniversary merchandise, additional character greetings and more food & beverage offerings to purchase.

Then, on May 4, celebrate Star Wars Day dressed in your best galactic Star Wars attire Prepare yourself for Epic Character Encounters including Chewbacca with Rey, Darth Vadar, Kylo Ren with Captain Phasma, Ewoks, Jawas and imperial stormtroopers. Plus, there will be specialty treats available for purchase.

For those who don’t know, Disney After Hours is hard ticketed event that occurs after park closing and lasts for three hours at the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The event allows Guests to be able to ride attractions with minimal to no wait, as well as enjoy all you care to eat snacks like popcorn, ice cream novelties, and bottled beverages.

Disney After Hours event tickets cost $125, plus tax for advance purchase and $129, plus tax for day-of purchases. For those who are Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders, there is a discounted price of $95, plus tax.

    Do the parks close early on these nights like for the Halloween and Christmas parties? Or is it after regular closing time?

    Is it possible that they might still add June dates for Magic Kingdom, or does it look like they are skipping June?
