Holiday Happenings at Disneyland Resort to Occur November 8 Through January 6

The Disneyland Resort will be a holly jolly destination this holiday season, as they celebrate with fantastic decor, great shows, attraction overlays, and more from November 8 through January 6. Here are some of the things to look forward to experiencing and celebrating at the Merriest Place on Earth.

Disneyland

  • You cannot miss the “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular, featuring a magical snowfall finale
  • Celebrate the season with the “A Christmas Fantasy” parade. This daily procession features floats, music and marching “tin soldiers.”
  • Enjoy the shimmering icicles and twinkling lights found on Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle.
  • You’ll gaze in awe over the 60-foot tall Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A., which is decorated with nearly 1,800 ornaments.
  • “it’s a small world” is transformed each evening into “it’s a small world” Holiday, with 50,000-plus colorful lights, music and video projections.
  • Haunted Mansion Holiday features Jack Skellington and his friends causing a collision between Christmas and Halloween in the celebration of the film, The Nightmare before Christmas.

 

Disney California Adventure

  • “World of Color – Season of Light” nighttime spectacular mixes cherished holiday music with memorable moments from Disney animated films.
  • Disney Festival of Holidays brings the spirit of the season to life through lively entertainment and special traditions. There will be delicious food at Festive Foods Marketplace that features a mix of holiday dishes and beverages that bridge many diverse cultures and family traditions.
  • “Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party” celebration returns featuring folklórico and samba dancers, live musicians, and favorite characters.
  • In Cars Land, two attractions are transformed for the season – Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree. The whimsical “Snowcar” greets guests on the road to Radiator Springs, and each “Cars” character also gets a holiday makeover.
  • Guests will enjoy special holiday-themed activities with Santa and his sleigh full of mischievous elves at Santa’s Holiday Visit at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
  • As you enter Buena Vista Street, you’ll see a dazzling, 50-foot Christmas tree that adorns Carthay Circle to help guests get in the holiday spirit.

 

In addition, throughout the resort, Guests can visit Downtown Disney District for festive shopping, dining and entertainment and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort also join in the yuletide celebration with twinkling lights and ornaments, holiday displays, special entertainment and holiday-inspired eats and treats.
