This week Universal begins their holiday festivities and announces the opening date for their next value resort. All this and more in this week’s Universal Orlando news roundup.
Endless Summer – Dockside Opening March 17, 2020
The midwest and northeast just received our first snowstorm of the season, but in Orlando it is always perpetual vacation. The next phase of Universal’s Endless Summer Resort opens in March when the first of two towers opens at Dockside. The sister resort to Endless Summer – Surfside, Dockside is located across Universal Boulevard on the old Wet’n’Wild parking lot.
Dockside’s theme takes inspiration from the piers and beachfront properties in Florida. The 2,050 hotel rooms will open in phases with the resort completed later in 2020. Amenities include a lounge with large tap selection, two pools, fitness center, arcade, on-site quick-service dining, transportation to the parks, package delivery, and Early Admission to the parks.
Endless Summer – Dockside room rates start at $85 a night and are available for booking now.
