Ahoy, mateys! I’m Heather, and I’ll be bringing you the up and coming on all things Disney Cruise Line. Welcome back again this week. Let’s see what’s new in the DCL world!

Cruise News

COVID-19 is changing daily, and so is the response of the travel industry. Despite the latest update from the US State Department, urging all, and especially those with underlying health conditions, to reconsider cruising, it is full steam ahead at this time for DCL and other cruise lines. DCL is offering guests sailing now through May 31 the option to cancel for a 100% cruise credit, to be used within 12 months of the original sail date. Additionally, guests on European sailings through July 25 can take the same offer and reschedule within 15 months. A Twitter poll by the Disney Cruise Line Blog shows that most cruisers are willing to stay the course right now, with the majority sailing as scheduled, or at least willing to wait and see what happens next. So, if you are scheduled to sail in the coming months, where do your thoughts currently lie??

In lighter news, there’s a new bounce back offer available for first time cruisers! If you have recently, or are about to take your very first Disney Cruise (yay!!), when you get back home and find yourself daydreaming about going back, you can at a discount! You have 60 days from the time you disembark to book your next cruise, and first as part of the Castaway Club, at a discount.

Weekly Specials

Warning – this week’s specials chart may leave you seeing stars. There are even more offers available from last week. New this week – some great Alaskan cruise options!

Here’s this week’s special offers. Most every week of the year, Disney Cruise Line releases special offers for Florida Residents and U.S. Military Personnel.  There are also frequently IGT/OGT/VGT rates available for all guests to book.  These offers are extremely limited in availability, and all come with certain restrictions, but the prices are amazing! You can book these online, on the phone, or with your travel agent. These are the current offers available this week:

The following films are being shown aboard the Disney Cruise Line ships this month:

  • Captain Marvel

  • Maleficent: Mistress of Evil
