Woe to him who dons the Boba Fett costume. People will swarm that, especially given that most of the other things listed are regular DHS things.
It’s a one night thing because Star Wars Celebration, the largest Star Wars con around, is in town that weekend. They’re trying to pull in the con attendees.
$5 less for kids? Isn’t that a bit odd? Why not keep the tickets at the same price?
I’m sure it’s some kind of marketing calculus. It’s clear that children take up almost the same amount of park resources as adults, but people are used to children being cheaper. They just have to strike the right balance of not turning people away who would be offended by children costing the same and making just as much money off the ticket.
Is it just me, or is it a little weird that Galactic “Nights” is a one-night-only event?
Not gonna lie…thought the same thing. It’s almost like it’s a test. If it does well, they’ll roll it out to more nights. If it’s a flop, well then, no harm, no foul. Only one night is impacted.
…not to mention that “Galactic Gala” is such an obviously better name anyway :-).
Oh darn it! That is much better! 🙂
A poster on another forum with access to the cast HUB noted that the cast FAQ specifically points out it will be a returning event at other times. Likely candidates are Star Wars day and when ep VIII premieres so we’ll see.
