What I Love! I Do!

We’ve had a Mouseketeer announcement, sudden Mickey love, and now we’re featuring wedding bells in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Liners Joe and Christy generously shared memories of their special day:

This is our favorite Disney memory! My wife Christy and I got married at The BoardWalk Resort in December of 2017. Walt Disney World is our most favorite place in the world so we thought it only appropriate to hold our small but beautiful wedding there. 

The ceremony was just perfect! The sun was setting and everything was decorated since we got married at Christmas time. After ceremony, we went back to the Wilderness Lodge where we were staying. Our plan was to get a picture in front of the enormous tree they always put in the lobby. As we walked in, I sat my new bride down in the beautiful lobby and told her I’d run to our run to get my camera so that someone could take our picture. As I happily walked through the lobby, I spotted two familiar figures all dressed in their holiday finery with a handy PhotoPass Photographer in tow! I quickly grabbed my wife and told her there was a change in plans! 

After waiting in line with all of the other excited guests, we got what was to become my most favorite picture ever! What an incredible moment to be able to cap off our special day with our favorite couple ever. It is truly a memory we will cherish forever. Christy and I can’t wait to go back to our Happy Place!
