A New Resource: TouringPlans FAQ Roundup Page
New Disney World trip planners are often overwhelmed by the sheer tonnage of information about the parks, restaurants, and resorts that comprise one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. To try to make things more manageable, we’ve created a single page roundup of resources to answer the most frequently asked questions we hear from guests. Things like:
- How do I make a budget for my trip?
- How do I choose where to stay?
- How do I decide where to eat?
- What’s the right age to take my kids to Walt Disney World?
The FAQ Roundup page is a one-stop shop of resources from the TouringPlans blog that addresses these most common planning questions. If you’re embarking on your first trip, this is a great place to begin. Or if you’re a veteran planner who is assisting a first-timer, this is the link to send them as they get started, with our “Greatest Hits” all in one place.

Great idea and great resource to link all those FAQs from one easy-to-scroll page. A couple notes:
-Typo in third ‘quick tips’ bullet; I assume “even we are biased” was meant to read “even IF we are biased” or “even THOUGH we are biased.”
-None of the Accommodations FAQs appear to cover resort parking fees. What are the costs at the various resort levels, valet options, cases where you don’t need to pay for parking (i.e. Fort Wilderness, DVC), etc? Additionally the FAQ about theme park parking is in Dani’s ‘bulleted list with notes’ format, but leaves a lot unexplained. Maybe we need an Erin Foster-style ‘Parking at WDW’ deep-dive FAQ that covers everything (parks, resorts, springs, etc).
-The two pages on height requirements (the ‘When Will My Child…’ and ‘The Ups and Downs…’) could probably be combined into one mega-page, as one explains how height requirements work and the other lists what they actually are. Also, as I commented yesterday [weird], the ‘When Will My Child’ one is due for an update to add RotR & MFSR and remove Primeval Whirl.
