The Great Irish Hooley Returns to Raglan Road Labor Day Weekend

Well, we are halfway to St. Patrick’s Day! Know how I know that? Because The Great Irish Hooley is taking place once again this Labor Day weekend at Raglan Road in Downtown Disney?

This year marks the fourth annual event of traditional live music, dancing, and delicious Irish cuisine. Festivities begin at noon on Friday, September 4 and will run through the evening of Monday, September 7.

This year’s party will included performances by seven top Irish bands, authentic step dancing, and first-rate contemporary Irish cuisine.

Also, in addition to the restaurant’s featured menu of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails, Raglan Road will spotlight four limited-edition craft beers brewed just for the Hooley by Ireland’s Rye River Brewing Company. These will include Raglan Road Saison, Raglan Road Fruit Salad Weiss Beer, McGargles Jims CO2 Stout, and McGargles Francis Tropical American IPA.

The entertainment line up for this year’s event includes:

• Screaming Orphans
• JigJam
• The Raglan Roots Coalition
• The Blaggards
• The West Coast Trio
• Cooney & Ryan
• The Blarney Stones

Guests will also be able to enjoy the Raglan Road Irish Dancers who will be found performing throughout the weekend and will also teach traditional Irish steps. The Hooley also will feature Celtic face-painting Saturday through Monday.

What makes this year’s event even more special is that this year’s Great Irish Hooley will also commemorate Raglan Road’s 10th anniversary in Downtown Disney! What a great party it will be!
