Big Top Souvenirs Open in Storybook Circus

This week, while I was visiting Walt Disney World, I was lucky enough to be there when a few new portions of the Storybook Circus area opened. I got to take a detailed look at these new areas and wanted to share them with you!

First, we are going to discuss the new shop, Big Top Souvenirs. The merchandise shop/snack location (menu here) can be found on the left side, right as you walk into the new area of Fantasyland.

Since I was actually there when it opened, I was able to take a ton of photos!

First is the outside of Big Top Souvenirs

Inside the shop, the circus theme is continued with merchandise shelves themed after circus carts. Even the carpet gets in on the action, looking like part of a canvas tent.

Here, guests will also have a chance to have their name embroidered on a hat.  It can be done the traditional way, or a bit more fancy, if you choose.

Inside the shop, guests will have a unique way to pin trade

The shop also features a few items that area special for the Storybook Circus area.

In the middle of the shop is a snack location where guests can pick up bakery items, along with cotton candy, caramel corn, and Goofy’s Glaciers.  (Slushy like drinks.) Also featured are a few new specialty cupcakes.

The new store looks absolutely amazing!  It will be a great area to go after meeting The Great Goofini in the new Pete’s Silly Sideshow meet and greet.

  • Are any of the bakery items gluten free or sugar free

  • Were any of the the bakery items labeled as snacks on DDP?

  • We were just there last week, and I saw the place, but it wasn’t open yet. I was kind of wondering about it, but was having so much fun with my Daughter & Grand Daughter in the Casey Jr. Splash play area, I forgot to inquire! Looks cool!

  • This store was so much fun! Wide selection of merchandise and the theming was in every detail. My six year old especially loved playing games with the cast members while mom shopped. She was given an umbrella and cheered on as she walked a “tight rope”. A really fun stop. A store you walk out of smiling!
