This just in! For the first time since 2019, both of Disney World’s Water Parks will be open at the same time. Disney had previously announced that Blizzard Beach would celebrate its 30th Anniversary, beginning today and concluding on April 30, 2025. They also announced that Typhoon Lagoon would be reopening on May 1, 2025. And today, Disney confirmed that Blizzard Beach will have a brief closure on May 1, but return to operation on May 21, and continue through the summer.

This is great news for guests taking advantage of the free visit on arrival day that’s included with Disney World Resort stays in 2025. Anecdotally, we’ve heard that Blizzard Beach is getting pretty crowded as the weather begins to warm up.
