Disney Shares Concept Art for New NBA Experience
It’s been known that The NBA Experience would be replacing the now former DisneyQuest. Today, Disney shared not only more details, but also a piece of concept art showing what the new complex would look like.

This new establishment on the West Side of Disney Springs is going to be inspired by the modern architecture of new NBA arenas around the country.
The state-of-the-art space will include interactive games and competitions for Guests to participate in, immersive experiences, a retail store and a restaurant.
NBA President, Global Partnerships Sal LaRocca said, “This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world.”
The NBA Experience is slated to open in the summer of 2019.
YAWN
I can’t think of anything less exciting than this. Even Disney Quest was an improvement
Bring back Disney quest 🙁
I agree with David and Karen. I can’t think of anyone in my family who would be remotely interested in going to this (granted, we are hockey people – basketball fans will probably feel differently). I wish they had done something with this space that more people would be interested in.
I’ll give it two years. They couldn’t make it work at Universal, but THIS TIME FOR SURE.
Just hope the architecture is in such a way the building can be used for something else. This is going to be a huge failure.
Aside from being “state of the art,” I feel like that’s literally the same elevator pitch used to describe DisneyQuest.
“is sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world”
Good to know they’ve identified their key demographic: literally anyone from planet Earth who happens to already be in Disney Springs.
This is going to be so dumb.
