Disney Cruise Line News and Specials — Week of March 3, 2020
Sponsored by Storybook Destinations
Ahoy, mateys! I’m Heather, and I’ll be bringing you the up and coming on all things Disney Cruise Line. Welcome back again this week. Let’s see what’s new in the DCL world!
Cruise News
COVID-19. It’s taken over the news, and it’s weighing heavily on the mind of many travelers at the present. As of now, Disney Cruise Line has not altered or cancelled any sailings. However, the situation is being closely monitored and guests who are booked to sail within the next two months have been receiving email updates with any potential restrictions at ports, as well as information on the protocol in place onboard to keep guests and crew healthy. I cannot stress this enough at the present (or really, anytime if I’m being honest): PLEASE. WASH. YOUR. HANDS!
Guests on select sailings this month may be treated to a sneak preview of the new live-action film, Mulan. You’ll want to check your Navigator for times!
Weekly Specials
Yes, the list of special offers this week is even bigger than last week’s! Florida Residents and eligible Military have some great options to choose from – including the 9-night Greek Isles cruise in June, or some fun Fantasy sailings in July!
Here’s this week’s special offers. Most every week of the year, Disney Cruise Line releases special offers for Florida Residents and U.S. Military Personnel. There are also frequently IGT/OGT/VGT rates available for all guests to book. These offers are extremely limited in availability, and all come with certain restrictions, but the prices are amazing! You can book these online, on the phone, or with your travel agent. These are the current offers available this week:
Upcoming Entertainment
The following films are being shown aboard the Disney Cruise Line ships this month:
- Captain Marvel

- Disneynature: Penguins
- Avengers: Endgame

- Toy Story 4
- Lion King
- Maleficent: Mistress of Evil
- Frozen 2

For future reference, films debut on Disney Cruise Line the same day of their initial release in the United States. Films do vary by ship. Show times are available in your Personal Navigator or the official Disney Cruise Line app.
