Disney Resort Front Desk Amenities: The Box Fan

Hopefully everyone staying at a Disney World Resort knows they can request things like extra pillows, towels, and blankets for their room, but did you know you can also ask for a box fan? Free of charge!

We love the fan app on our phones, but sometimes the air conditioning just doesn’t get cool enough and you need an actual fan, not just the noise, to sleep. We recently stayed at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and decided to request a box fan through the Front Desk. The Front Desk can be reached via your in-room phone if you don’t want to walk back to your Resort lobby.

• Step stool
• Crib
• Pack ‘n Play

Quantities of all of the items above are limited and none of them are guaranteed, but we have found the Front Desk Cast Members to be very helpful and accommodating, so it’s worth the effort to ask.
