wait time chart

Pinocchio’s Daring Journey is a minor attraction, and even on the busiest days, it’s rare for the wait to exceed a half hour. The apex of the day between noon and 4 or so should still be avoided to minimize your wait, but this should not be the attraction you’re running to first thing. Expected wait times on a crowd-level basis are noted here, but be sure to check out the expected wait time for the date you intend to be there.

  • Pinocchio’s Daring Journey Ride depicts Child Slavery.

As you know I’ve been on Pinocchio’s Daring Journey Ride around 2014 and during that ride I’m very shocked and disturbed by the child slavery scenes including Pinocchio being in a cage and later on 2 donkey boys being in cages and sold into child slavery which has me very uncomfortable and upset.

I’ve been requesting to the Disneyland company that Pinocchio’s Daring Journey Ride either get updated to remove child slavery or replace the ride with a different one like The Emperors New Groove or Tangled or Brave or Up Ride or Beauty and the Beast Ride. Pinocchio’s ride is too negative for sensitive people like me.

If the Disneyland workers is reading this comment please ask them to consider replacing the Pinocchio ride, nobody especially families likes seeing animal cruelty and child slavery in a Disneyland ride, it’s time to remove the child slavery scenes from the Pinocchio ride.

  • A couple of years ago, I walked by and it appeared that the ride had gone out of service. Then I realized it was just that nobody wanted to ride it. I rode it and liked it. It is a refreshing change of pace from the ultra-high tech, screen-based rides that have come to dominate theme park offerings. Have the kids view the classic 1940 film before you ride.

  • I’m convinced that the Pleasure Island room is the loudest place in the whole of Disneyland.
