Egg-stravaganza Returns to the Disney Parks
Can you believe that Easter is only a few short weeks away? To celebrate, both Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be holding their Egg-stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt.
This is a fun egg-themed scavenger hunt where Guests need to search for large, hidden “eggs” that are themed to some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters. Once the egg, the Guests will place a corresponding sticker on their Egg-stravaganza map, representing that location. Once all eggs have been found, (ok…you don’t have to hunt the eggs, but part of the fun is actually doing the hunting), you’ll take your map to a redemption location to receive a prize. Maps cost $6.99, plus tax and can be picked up at select merchandise locations.
At the Disneyland Resort, eggs can be found throughout Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District. Maps can be redeemed at one of three locations – Disney Showcase in Disneyland, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure, and World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.
At Walt Disney World, Guests will be able to search for the eggs around World Showcase at Epcot. Locations where you can redeem your prize are – Disney Traders, Pin Central, and World Traveler.
The Egg-stravaganza takes place on both coasts from April 5 through April 21, while supplies last. Valid theme park admission is required for those looking to do the hunts that are located in the theme park locations.
We’re headed there on the 5th. This sounds like a fun little add-on to the trip. Maybe it will distract us from the crowds! =P
