Epcot Construction Update – Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and More

Last month, we posted a Skyliner gondola update that included a glimpse of the construction related to the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride that’s coming to the France pavilion. Not much has changed with the Skyliner (they’re still testing), but it looks like lots of progress is being made to the facade of the expanded building in France.

May 14. The yellow in the back center is the Ratatouille ride.
June 11. The ride facade is much larger in the back.
June 11. Closer to the main part of the France pavilion, the facade is nearly complete.

Over near the front of Epcot, they’re still making progress on the removal of the Leave A Legacy monoliths. The monoliths on the left side of the entrance (as you face Spaceship Earth) have now been completely removed.

The main gate Epcot security area and tram zone construction is causing some rerouting of guests walking toward the park.

  • Maybe there will be news that there will be two separate loading zones for the trams and the parking lots will change names example Amaze is Mexico and parts of Discover will become China and Morocco and the West lot tram drop off and pick up will be looking like the international gateway and the East tram drop off and pick up will look like project tomorrow themed as the Imagine lots will become Imagination and portions of the Wonder lot will change from 1st part to be Soarin to last part being Seas.
