Five “Free” Flower & Garden Festival Activities
We still have 82 days of EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival left- lots of time to plan a visit! If there’s a chance you’re headed to EPCOT before the Festival ends, I’d like to share my most favorite “free” activities that include a few snacks, eduction, entertainment, and big fun. All without stepping foot on a ride!
#1 The Tea Tours

The U.K. Pavilion offers two types of complimentary Tea Tours during Flower & Garden.
The first is a self-guided tour that is available from 9:00am to 9:00pm at The Tea Caddy. There are printed Tea Tour Seek-and-Find maps, pictured above, inside The Tea Caddy near the register.

The guide will take you around the tea garden behind the shops where you’ll read about Twinings Teas and planted ingredients. My fellow Queen Charlotte / Bridgerton fans will have a soft spot for the Orangery of Lady Grey. When you’ve successfully strolled the garden, pop back into The Tea Caddy for your free tea sample. My advice? Make your kids do the tour with you and swipe their tea bags. Groceries are expensive and tea is delicious.
The second tour is also complimentary, but it only runs twice a day. You can head into The Tea Caddy to sign up for a guided Tea Tour. Tours take place at 1:00pm and 3:30pm, but you can get on the list as soon as they open and you’ll leave with a tea sample, too. This tour is nice because you can ask questions of your knowledgable Guide, but both tours are sure to look and smell delightful.
#2 Free Uncrustables on Weekends

I can hear the cart of frozen Uncrustables rolling toward the 50th Figment statue from my spot in the Japan Pavilion. Any parent who has paid $5.69 for an Uncrustable at a Disney Resort (they really are $5.69 EACH!!), is going to be excited about this. On Saturdays and Sundays during Flower & Garden, you can find Cast Members on the bridge to World Showcase handing out free Uncrustables.

Follow the map above or just backtrack from the line of folks flowing into World Showcase who are shoving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches into their faces. FWIW, the Apple Cinnamon Jelly is 10/10 and not just because it’s free.
#3 Garden Graze

This one is only free if you were planning to buy 5 items on the Garden Graze menu. You can read all about how to complete the Garden Graze here. When you have your 5 stamps, the sundae and seed packet pictured above are free. Wash out your plastic cup and you’ve got a cute souvenir. I use mine to store my precious collection of Blackwing pencils on my desk.
#4 Commune with the Butterfly

Butterfly Landing near The Land Pavilion is such a special part of this festival. This is a walk-through tent that is filled with an explosion of butterfly-friendly plants and flowers. You’ll see butterflies in various colors and sizes nearly everywhere you look.

Take your time as you stroll through this exhibit. Guests are usually more muted which ads to the special feeling under the mesh tent. You can learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and how to create your own ecosystem at home that will hopefully attract your very own kaleidoscope. Did you know that “kaleidoscope” is the name for a group of butterflies?!? You will know that after you make your way through Butterfly Landing! Just step carefully! The colorful residents sometimes land on the walkway or may decide to perch on you instead of a bloom.
#5 Garden Rocks

You don’t need to purchase a Dinner Package to enjoy the free concert series during Flower & Garden. Local bands appear during the week, but weekends bring names you’ll likely know and maybe some you’re really excited to see. There are 3 concerts per night: 5:30pm, 6:45pm, and 8:00pm each evening. You can start lining up for Standby seating as early as you like. The more popular the act, the earlier folks will line up. For example, 98 Degrees is performing May 10th and 11th and people will start lining up around lunch. The standby line forms on the right side of the American Gardens Theatre if you’re facing the stage.
