Are we getting soft? Maybe so, because we’re back with another review full of praise! This time, we’re headed to Mexico!

Tostada de Osso Buco, $8.25 + tax = $8.79

Pork Osso Buco atop a Fried Corn Tortilla with Chipotle Black Beans, Salsa Verde, Queso Fresco, and Chives

Outstanding flavors and absolutely a great use of 1 DDP Snack Credit! The pork is tender and plentiful. This one is a hard yes for us! We’ll be spending our own money to get this Tostada again.

Taco de Camaron, $8.50 + tax = $9.05

Flour Tortilla with Crispy Tempura Shrimp, Shredded Cabbage, and Chipotle Aïoli

The tempura breading is a tiny bit thick, but this is an excellent shrimp taco.

Paleta de Moras, $7.00 + tax = $7.46

So tart. So sweet. Executed perfectly.

Fruta de la Pasión, $13.75 + tax = $14.64

Blanco Tequila, Mezcal, Tangy Passion Fruit Purée, and Citrus Juice with a Salty Chili Rim

Mexico is one of the few kitchens where we always order the festival alcoholic beverages and these two are the reasons why. Nobody does a tequila drink like the folks in the Mexico pavilion. The passion fruit purée is thick and the blanco tequila and mezcal are strong! If you like those flavors, this is a wonderful use of money and time in line.

This is adult summer in a glass! If we’re forced to pick one, which would be rude, this is our pick. Puckery and sweet with a kick!
