Holiday Straws that Have Us Charmed
In general, I’m not a big fan of the plastic straws they sell at the parks. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of reusable straws, but the ones at the parks always seem to be difficult to clean, and become their own kind of plastic waste posthaste. That said, we spotted these today at Animal Kingdom, and I must admit, I’m a fan.
The straws are available at drink carts around Animal Kingdom (and likely going to be around all of Walt Disney World before you know it). They’re $4.50 each, and no AP discount is available. I love that the draw looks easy to clean with a straw brush — no crazy twists. But what I really, really love about this is the gingerbread Mickey charm on it — something you can use elsewhere after the straw has outlived its usefulness. It’s two fun souvenirs in one!
