Is Oga’s Cantina To-Go a Good Value?

We tried out the to-go line at Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge recently. Here is how the process works:

You don’t need a reservation to grab drinks from the to-go line at Oga’s Cantina. You can head to the location in Glaxy’s Edge and get in line to the right of the rope and flags as shown in the image above.

Once you’re in line, a Cast Member will provide you with a menu.

You’ll need to know your drink order before you’ll be escorted into the Cantina. Snacks are not available in the to-go line, just drinks.

Once it’s your turn and you know what you’re ordering, a Cast Member will bring you into the Cantina where you’ll wait at the cash register to pay and receive your drink. You will not be able to wander around and you won’t be able to linger at the bar. You’re just inside for as long as the transaction takes – so just a minute or two.

Once your tab is settled and you have your drink, you’ll be escorted out.

You may order any beverage on the menu. If you order something with a souvenir cup, your drink will come in a plastic cup and your souvenir cup will be delivered to you in a box.

Our to-go Fuzzy TaunTaun wasn’t as fun in appearance as the ones we enjoy while inside Oga’s, but it had the same mouth numbing effect!

Oga’s Cantina has taken a hit with TouringPlans Subscribers in the last few years. The 45 minute time limit on the experience has had an impact on survey results for this location making the 88%, Below Average rating unsurprising.

Our take on this to-go option is to spend your boozy dollars somewhere else. You’re missing the whole experience and the escort to and from the bar to make sure you don’t wander stings a bit.
