Mounds of Merchandise at Mori’s for Haunted Mansion’s 50th

In addition to the Dooney & Bourke bags and limited-edition cupcake available to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, there’s also a motherlode of merchandise available at the Memento Mori shop at Magic Kingdom.

So…I hate to be a Debbie Downer, because a lot of the merchandise looks really cool. But I am a bit perplexed about selling so much Disneyland-labeled merchandise at Walt Disney World. I get that it is only the Disneyland Haunted Mansion’s 50th anniversary. I get that people wouldn’t necessarily be able to make a trip to California to get these neat things. It just feels odd to have Disneyland merchandise — that actually says Disneyland on it — for sale at Walt Disney World.

What do you think? Would you buy Disneyland merchandise on your trip to Walt Disney World? Let us know in the comments.

  • I bought 2 of the jars after waiting 2 hours in line. When I got home, one of them unfortunately has distorted sound. Any clue how I can get a replacement without lugging it all the way back to the park?

    • What I’d suggest is going and buying another one in the store (and, if possible, testing it out there). For the item that you’re looking to return as defective, you should be able to return it to any resort hotel gift shop — that would save you having to go through bag check and the hassle of walking around with it into the park.

  • We were at the park yesterday and the line to get into Momento Mori’s was wrapped around the building and stretched all the way over to Rapunzel

  • It would help in the future if there was a description on each photo so we can tell what things are.

  • Wondering what the price of jars will be when I get there in September.

    Thanks Julia!

  • The Host a Ghost jars are the only items here that don’t look chintzy as heck.

  • I couldn’t care less what park is listed on the merch, I just hope some of this is still around in a couple months when I finally get to hit the park! I figured it would all be Disneyland exclusive.

    • same!
