Opening Date Announced for The Magic of Disney Animation

Disney announced today that The Magic of Disney Animation will open Monday, September 14, 2026. New experiences include:

• “Olaf Draws”
  • Learn to draw Disney characters with a new Audio-Animatronic Olaf
• “Drawn to Wonderland”
  • A Curiouser and Curiouser Playground designed for kids ages 6 months to 5 years old. This indoor playground will include the Queen of Heart’s rose garden, a Mad Tea Party, and more.
• “Off the Page!”
  • A Character meet and greet location that will highlight familiar friends in different animation stages:
    • Mulan in Story
    • Rapunzel in Layout
    • Chip n’ Dale in Hand-Drawn Animation
    • Donald and Daisy in Computer Animation
    • Goofy in Lighting
    • Stitch in Effects
• Once Upon a Studio Theater
  • Watch the now classic “Once Upon A Studio” with special characters popping up alongside the art work in the theater.

Crowds?

Nope. Our crowd forecasts for the week of September 14th look especially low. We’ll be nearing the end of Cool Kids’ Summer and actual summer vacation since most schools will be back in session at this time.
