PHOTOS: Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Sign Installed

Disney’s Hollywood Studios overhaul is nearly complete. With Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge being fully operational now, and other additions, the new era of this park is almost fully ushered in. Overnight the sign for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway was installed on the beautiful marque of the Chinese Theater.

Years ago the massive Sorcerer Mickey hat was removed, finally re-revealing the gorgeous recreation of the original Chinese Theater in Los Angeles that had been blocked for years. When you look closely at this building you will see some incredible detail.

The new sign for Runaway Railway is well crafted, evoking the great neon signs of decades past. There’s just one problem, it now blocks one of the beautiful details of the theater. But where else could it have been placed? I am sure it will look spectacular at night. It just proves you can’t have it all.
