You see it around the parks, Express Pass. What does it do? Does it cost money?

Universal Express Pass Unlimited

Express Pass is a line-skipping option offered by Universal Orlando for select attractions. Passes are purchased per guest, granting the guest access to a special Express Pass queue for priority boarding. Express Pass is sold as reducing your waits by half, meaning a 60 minute posted wait time would be 30 minutes or less through the Express Pass queue. Typically we expect Express wait times to be 5 to 15 minutes from entering the queue to riding.

There are several flavors of Express Pass:

  • Universal Express Pass – Regular Express Pass, valid at one theme park and grants you access to the Express line one time per attraction. Starts at $89.99 per person plus tax.
  • Universal Express Pass Unlimited – Like the regular Express Pass but now with unlimited access to the Express queues for each attraction. Want to marathon Men in Black? This is it. Starts at $119.99 per person plus tax.
  • Two Park Express Pass – Offered in Regular and Unlimited variants, this pass is valid for both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure theme parks on one day. Starts at $104.99 per person plus tax. Also available in a two-park version.
  • Complimentary Express Pass – Two park unlimited Express Pass offered as a benefit of staying at either the Hard Rock Hotel, Portofino Bay, or Royal Pacific hotels. Only valid at Universal Studios Florida and Island of Adventure.
  • Volcano Bay Express Pass – Valid only at Volcano Bay on select slides. Starts at $19.99 per person plus tax.
  • Volcano Bay Express Pass Plus – Valid only at Volcano Bay on all slides. Starts at $49.99 per person plus tax.

Express Passes easily incorporated into all our Touring Plans and make touring easy and hassle-free. Express Pass is a great option to have it is not a requirement to have a fun day at the parks. Just remember the three tips for touring: 1) Arrive Early 2) Take a mid-day break 3) Stay to the park closes.
