Take a good hard look cuz I’m standing on a boat. Or water taxi. In this week’s Universal Translator, we take a look at Universal’s water taxi system!

Water Taxis are a transportation option at Universal Orlando that takes guests between select hotels and CityWalk, where, from there, it is a quick walk to Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure. Taxis start operating half an hour before Early Park Admission and stop when CityWalk closes, with departures every 15 minutes. Guests must pass through security before entering the boat, as you will disembark in the secure area. Taxis seat approximately 50 guests and are stroller, wheelchair, and ECV friendly.

Translation complete. Stay tuned next week for another edition of Universal Translator!

  • Wow. What a bad and very inaccurate article. Boats depart 1 hour before EPA.
Every 15 minutes is a fallacy, especially when going from CW back to hotels. Especially during middle of day when Sapphire and RP share a boat. I never ever take boat back to hotel, I always walk.

  • Ooo I hope we get a is it faster series. Is it faster to wait for the water taxi, or to walk between destinations, etc. Kinda like the recent MCO to WDW transportation piece
