Update: Delete Function
In case you missed it when we updated last night – you can now delete your personalized touring plans! Just head to your personalized touring plans page and click the delete link on any plan you have listed (you’ll be asked to confirm, as this action cannot be undone).
We’ve also fixed several bugs recently, including making sure all attractions and shows appear in the drop down menus, fixing a time zone issue for steps in Disneyland Resort plans, clearing up some problems with hard ticket plans, and just general cleanup of text and error messages to try and make things (like water park plans) more understandable.
If you haven’t tried the personalized touring plans (for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland) feature recently, check it out and let us know what you think! We’re always working to improve the system.
On 8 July morning, I am unable to optimize any plan. It just tells me to wait 45 seconds
or a minute then check back. When I check back, it still tells me it is working on the
optimization and to wait 45 seconds and check back. I’ve tried the app and the web site
and both behave similarly.
I imagine there is some problem within the touring plans server. Please help as we will be at WDW for the next 4 days. Thanks.

There was indeed a server issue – everything should be back up now. Thanks!
I was at the parks on Friday & couldn’t optimize either. I’m glad to know that it was probably just your server. I hope everything will be working fine next time for me!
Sarah-
I’ve been trying to optimize this plan for the last 2 days, and no matter what I do to the waiting vs. walking sliders, the plan does not change. If I move one of the steps in the plan and optimize, it will leave it right where it is… it almost seems like the optimizer is not optimizing. And I’ve made my own plan and evaluated and got a FAR better plan. Like 30 less minutes waiting and less walking as well.
Is something wrong with the optimizer? Because I thought that it should give me the best plan- but I seem to be able to come up with better plans myself by evaluating.
Plan is http://touringplans.com/plans/168970#
Thanks!

Thank you for that feature. I’ve been wandering about how to do it for a long time.
Just one thing. I did successfully erase a plan but I was never asked to confirmed I was sure I wanted to erase it as you mentionned it would.
Thank goodness . . . that was the one thing that was bugging me about trying to get our plans made . . . and now they’re in chronological order, too!!! Bravo, this site just keeps getting better and better!!!!
Excellen feature!
Any chance that there will be a single rider option added to the touring plan options?
Single Rider option would be Super-Awsome-A-Tasmic!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I like to play around with the touring plans and was disappointed when I couldn’t delete and start over. Now I can! yea!
63 days and counting until my WDW trip 🙂
Thanks! You guys are awesome!
Delete is nice. Is here the best place to mention that AK plans still don’t do a good job with the things that involve taking the train?
Of course you know that I would love the delete feature. 🙂 I’m having trouble dragging some Get Fast Pass events to start the date. Is there a hard coded rule that won’t let me move a Get Fast Pass up above something?
Thanks, will be down for 5 days next week, and this will be very useful.
Yes been wanting it!
Thank YOU beary, beary, beary much! 🙂
Hi Sarah,
If I find any bugs do you still want them inputted on the form you had initially?
Thanks,
I think we’re down to trickle of bugs left in the system, so go ahead and email us (webmaster@touringplans.com) if you have any problems. The bug form was just to make sure nothing got lost in a flood of email. 🙂 Thanks!
Yay! Thanks so much, my list was getting kind of messy and confusing.
Thank you!! This will help a ton!
Thanks for the update! This is a fantastic tool and it just keeps getting better.
Thanks!!! Just deleted a bunch of TPs that had been waiting for this function to roll out!!
