Great Brian in a Bathrobe! It’s time for a TouringPlans room walkthrough–this time a Deluxe Room at Gran Destino Tower. What do you think of this room? Is it worth the hefty price tag?

I was put in a deluxe on an upper floor (11 or 12) facing the lake. That “room” had large rectangular windows in each of the three rooms that offered spectacular views, including the MK fireworks. The window in the bathroom was frosted on the bottom half (~4ft), which was really nice. Since I was paying an AP discount for a standard room with club access, in late August, I found it to be a terrific bargain.
This is standard set up for a convention hotel. A meeting room with a separate 1/2 bath and a closed off bedroom & bath. Makes perfect sense for a convention destination like Coronado Springs.
Odd layout. Great view of the bus stop. A lot of wasted space in the bedroom. Could have had another sleeper sofa love seat or a drop down bed. Not worth the price, imho. Can stay at Contemporary for cheaper and have five in the room. Yes, you get Club Level access (but not on the Club Level).
