Hi again! I’m back with your weekly Universal Orlando update. It’s the dog days of summer, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting out and having fun at the parks.
Weekly Crowd Level
Did you say you were thinking of visiting Universal this week? You were not the only one! Be prepared to cozy up with the other summer fun-seekers. If you’d rather avoid people as much as possible, pick your parks wisely using the detailed crowd calendar.
Weekly Weather Report
Yup…dog days of summer right there. It’s all about light clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and plans to either duck into the air conditioning or run through the rain! If you are more of the stay cool and dry type, head over to Race Through New York with Jimmy Fallon before the skies open up and take some time to check out memorabilia from The Tonight Show throughout the lobby. Maybe you prefer to keep cool in the water? Volcano Bay baby!
Weekly Park Hours and Admission
CityWalk is still open until 2am daily, and self parking is free after 6pm.
We are still at peak summer pricing, so as a reminder:
One-day base tickets to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure will run you $124 per adult and $119 per child (plus tax). 2-Park 1-Day tickets are $179 per adult and $174 per child (plus tax). A one-day ticket for Volcano Bay will be $67 per adult and $62 per child (plus tax).
Beer drinkers will want to check out the new local craft beers cart over at Universal Studios. Head to the New York area and pick up one of the brews from Orlando, Miami, Tampa, or Winter Garden!
There are no planned closures or refurbishments scheduled for this week.
See you next week!
