After a lengthy refurbishment, the classic Walt Disney World attraction The Hall of Presidents will reopen on Tuesday, December 19. During the year-long transformation, enhancements were included that bring the story of the American presidency to life as never before.

In addition, during this update, as has happened before and is the tradition with every new president elected to the office since the attraction debuted, an Audio-Animatronics figure of President Donald J. Trump has been added to the show. President Trump personally recorded remarks exclusively for The Hall of Presidents, just as each sitting president has done for the attraction since the early 1990s.

The Hall of Presidents carries a legacy that has been part of Disney Parks for more than 50 years.

  • I always thought this attraction was super boring and now I have even more reason to avoid it.

    • Oh boo hoo. Intolerant people like you have no appreciation for the art and history of the hall of presidents.

      • Hey “Growup” who’s intolerant? If you or other people like it awesome enjoy but this is just my opinion. I appreciate the history but prefer rides like HM or Space Mountain. I think the original Abe Lincoln Animatronic is pretty cool and wish they just had that at MK. I love the muppets but find their new show super boring as well.

It honestly probably has a lot to with where I live in New England. Nothing about the America Pavilion in Epcot or liberty square in MK have any interest to me. I see real historical buildings all the time and was lectured on the history of American presidents for most of my childhood. So because of that I don’t find these particularly interesting. If you don’t have that and like the attraction then awesome but its pretty boring overall to me.

It is pretty ironic that you are using the word intolerant when I was expressing a personal opinion you are literally being intolerant of. 😀 But hey lets all just like what we like and let others do the same.

      • Don’t feed the trolls…

  • Watched it on youtube, and thankfully, the Trump content isn’t very Trumpy. The whole “don’t let him talk” petitions may have failed, but his speech is a (clearly Disney-written) generically patriotic puff piece that’s honestly interchangeable with the one Robobama used to give.

  • From the video clip I saw on the news this morning, it looks like they are using projection technology for the facial expressions. Interested to see if it is in fact as unflattering in person as it appeared in the news clip.

    • It appears to be a complete AA like all the others. The clip I saw looked like he was moving his mouth as usual.
The likeness, however, seems quite a bit “off.” Lots of people comparing it to John Voight…
I think it actually looks kinda hilarious.

  • Yay! Just in time for our trip! This is one of my husband’s favorite attractions.

  • One of my fav exhibits. I even like the American Experience better. I never thought of myself as patriotic and was surprised how moved I am when I visit these two exhibits.
