Hail to the Chief! Hall of Presidents Reopens in August

Earlier this year, The Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom closed for refurbishment. This classic Walt Disney World attraction closes every time a new president is elected in our country, as work is done to install the likeness of this individual inside. For the past few months, work has been underway to add President Joe Biden to the stage as the 46th President of the United States. Currently, the final touches on the show are being worked on, which means that the updated version will debut to guests in August.

Guests will see this Audio-Animatronics replica of the President deliver the presidential oath of office, which was recorded at the White House by President Biden himself just for the attraction.

In addition, you may notice the table next to President Biden is adorned with a few special items, each with their own significance to the President. These include peach blossoms to represent his home state of Delaware and a pair of aviators as a nod to his proclivity for the sunglasses.

The Hall of Presidents is an iconic Walt Disney World attraction, having been introduced when the park opened in 1971. It will be nice to have this attraction back in action as the park gets ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

  • I gotta say, that doesn’t really look like Joe to me.

  • Biden needs a dog.

    • He’d just mistake it for a cat.
