Disney Introduces Festival of the Lion King Dining Packages

Walt Disney World is introducing two brand new dining package for Guests to be able to participate in. The Festival of the Lion King Dining Packages will allow Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom to have a delicious meal at Tiffins and then receive special VIP seating at the extremely popular Festival of the Lion King show.

There will be two different tiers to choose from for those looking to partake in this dining experience. With both Tier I and Tier II, Guests will be able to enjoy either lunch or dinner at Tiffins Restaurant where you’ll enjoy a three-course meal that includes one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, and your choice of wine, beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage. Then, along with your meal, you’ll receive special vouchers for priority reserved VIP seating at Festival of the Lion King. Guests will even receive a commemorative cast photo that captures the moment forever.

There’s a special perk though for those who purchase the Tier I package though. You’ll then be able to take a safari tour to the African outback. Escorted by a special guide, you’ll ride through the terrain to see some of the world’s most exotic animals and tour guides will provide interesting information along the way.

These dining packages are currently only being offered for a limited time, from August 13 through November 21.  The cost is as follows:

Tier I

  • $99 per adult—plus tax and gratuities
  • $49 per child (ages 3 to 9)—plus tax and gratuities

Tier II

  • $74 per adult—plus tax and gratuities
  • $29 per child (ages 3 to 9)—plus tax and gratuities

  • If you would eat at Tiffins anyway and If you can order the ribeye with this package then the Tier 2 offer is a deal. According to the TP menu prices you’ll break even or maybe save a few dollars and get the show pass. I know that Tiffins is a signature restaurant and is well reviewed but that is not a price point for my budget. Hello Trails End!
