I guess the Minnie Van from the Airport is a nice idea for really busy times of the year at the parks – but I personally don’t see the benefit of it when Magical Express is there an a free service if you’re at a Disney Resort. And that price tag – ouch!

      Jay,

It would definitely be a splurge, but I can see some wanting to do it to save taking the bus three hours before their flight…especially if it’s an international flight. Then it’s four hours early!

      Thanks for the comment!

Yes, I would definitely consider taking a Minnie Van to the airport!

As Angela wrote, for an international flight, Magical Express is very early. The CMs at our resort said “don’t take it” for that reason.

We took a taxi from our resort to the airport. The seatbelts were wonky. At the end, the driver said he only took cash because his machine was broken. I figured out how to use his machine a different way so that I could use my card. (I only had $50 US cash on me at the end of the trip.) I’m glad it worked out, but it was less than optimal.

I am so glad there are Minnie Vans. I was planning on using Lyft next time. I like knowing it’s a Disney Cast Member.

Edit: I was planning on using Lyft next time, but I like knowing it’s a Disney Cast Member in the Minnie Van. (And that the seatbelts are good!)

Thanks for sharing your experience Lily! It’s helpful to see why people prefer one form of transportation over another.
