New Japan Pavilion Restaurant Called Takumi-Tei to Open This Summer
Announced a year ago, we now know, not only the name of the upcoming new table service restaurant that’s coming to the Japan Pavilion at Epcot, but we also found out that it will be opening this summer!
This signature dining experience will be called Takumi-Tei, which means house of the artisan. The overall design of the restaurant is one that celebrates the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world.
The dinner menu for Takumi-Tei will highlight wagyu beef and guests interested in the ultimate experience will be able to indulge in a multi-course tasting menu featuring traditional tea service. Signature cocktails and premium sake will be available along with a wine and craft beer menu.
There will even be a special Chef’s Table dining experience located in the Water Room.
Takumi-Tei will be operated by Mitsukoshi USA, which operates the merchandise, the other restaurants, Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining, and the kiosks found in the Japan pavilion.
