Oga’s Cantina Reservations Now Available For Advance Booking at Disneyland

For those of you wanting to have a fantastic beverage from Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort, you’ve only been able to make your reservation day of, while at the park. But today, there’s a brand new option! Guests can, not only make their reservations online, but they can now make reservations for this popular bar up to 14 days (originally it was 60 days and I suspect it will go back to 60 days in the future) in advance via the Disneyland App! For those looking to make their reservation online, they can still do so by visiting Disneyland.com/Cantina.

In looking earlier today, I was able to see that reservations could easily be made, even if I wanted to visit today. I suspect with the ease of making these reservations now though, it may be a little more difficult to obtain a coveted time slot. Of course, only time will tell.

To make your reservation using the app, you need to click on “Reserve Dining”.

From there, select the date you are looking to visit Oga’s Cantina and the times available for dining will show up.

If for some reason you cannot make a reservation online for Oga’s Cantina, walk-ins may be available, but they will be extremely limited.

A similar reservation system will soon be rolled out for those looking to build a lightsaber in Savi’s Workshop.

  • It is only 14 days out as of right now, according to the Disney Parks Blog. I tested this, too.

    • They changed it then…because I got the 60 days from the Parks Blog….

  • I have purposely been avoiding looking at too much about Galaxys Edge to avoid spoilers, so I don’t know much about Oga’s, but the menu looks like even though there are times for meals, there is really only snacks and beverages served. Without giving too much away (please) is this a place I would want to visit with me little kids or skip this time around?

    • Oga’s is a VERY highly-themed bar. As you already saw, the menu is just drinks and a bowl of snack mix. All ages are welcome, and older kids can get fruity non-alcoholic drinks and enjoy the ambiance, but I would strongly recommend against trying to take “little” kids there. It’s mostly standing room in there. If you don’t luck out and get one of the few tables, you’re stuck at a stand-up cocktail table and will have to choose between holding the kid or chasing them around a busy bar.

Because Oga’s is very popular and very small, reservations have been required since Galaxy’s Edge opened. What is *changing* now is the “Advanced Booking” mentioned in the article title. For the first month of operation, reservations were same-day only, opening up at 7am and vanishing within minutes. It appears that Disney has decided to keep using reservations for Oga’s indefinitely, so you can now book them weeks in advance like other reservation-required offerings.

      I hope that helps!
